between 12.30 -5.30pm
Preview on Sat 8th Feb 7 – 9pm
Brave the weather, bring a tipple of your preference have some of ours, put your coats on and see Bootle as the Sun goes down behind the Triad and if you’re lucky you may see The Sun come up over The Canal you could come by boat or you could get
a Number 53 or any Southport Bus from Queens Square, by the auto toilets next to Yates Pub.

Alight at the Pitch Pine Pub, (watch out for Bank Hall Road Junction) and then The Bus Stop is just past PDSA, blue, glass and brick, building, on your right hand side, as you head towards Bootle.
Buses are frequent and takes maybe ten 15 mins
Trains also frequent and take maybe five or so mins
If you get lost ask a policeman.

Local History Art Exhibition

LOCAL HISTORY EXHIBITION: TUESDAY 8th – 31st October. Don’t miss this fabulous opportunity to see original art by Liverpool artists about local history, Artists exhibit their memories on local history through photography and painting, including interesting memorabilia from the past and a talk by local historian Frank Carlyle. Artists will be exhibiting a variety of works based on local history. Some of our submissions include work about the docks, local pubs, local buildings, family history, politics and photography from the past. Memorabilia consists of old letters and notebooks, magazines and diaries, some very interesting items on display, particularly an old desk diary by a Liverpool lady during the second world war. Local researcher, Timothy Bolton will also be creating a window display of his research on the history of Hugh Baird College.
PREVIEW MONDAY 7tH OCTOBER 7-9.Come along and meet the artists. meet the speakers, see what is going on in the community, who are the historians keeping our past alive? Come and join us! Invite your friends to celebrate Liverpool’s past! A poetry and further networking event will also take place later on October. About Infinite Art Space

Infinite Art Space began on-line in Toxteth and was set up in January 2008 to provide exhibiting opportunities to artists and to bring interesting and diverse art to the people of Liverpool and beyond. In Toxteth we curated a number of exhibitions in various venues, St Brides Church, Toxteth Town Hall, The Florrie and The Vice Chancellor’s Lodge, Liverpool University. Artwork is accepted from local, national and international artists. Our new name is The Art Gallery. We are a small gallery based on the Stanley Road, Bootle. We welcome innovative and cutting edge art. IAS is a business for artists, opening doors and creating opportunities for artists locally and internationally. Opportunities are encouraged through positive approaches to exhibiting, networking and an open and flexible approach to the sharing of ideas. IAS is open to change and development. Exhibitions will run on a fortnightly and monthly basis. We have some new opportunities to exhibit with us coming soon! Watch this space!
